Sorry if this has gotten too "churchie".....

So, why is it, that if god is everything he is purported to be, (you know; kind, benevolent, loving...) why do we have to ask to be forgiven?

Natural order and the food chain...

No one person is fundamentally greater than another. Some assume they are better than others, because of their financial position. Others believe in stratification based on their job, job title, or academic achievements. Granted these are great deeds, and worthy of mention in conversation. However, they do not move some one higher up on the food chain. No one ever becomes the hunter nor the hunted. Therefore, unless you put air in my lungs, or sign my paycheck, you get the same respect you give.
